Back in early June I submitted my portfolio to the Boston chapter of Fashion Group International and was named as one of New England's up-and-coming fashion photographers. As one of five selected photographers, we were then paired with a fashion designer that is showing at "The Launch", a young designer showcase during Boston Fashion Week. At our first meeting we were given the task of conceptualizing, planning, and executing an editorial spread using the designers newest collection as a spring board for the final product... sounds like a reality tv show pilot... HOLLAH!!!

I have been paired with Laura Kane, a young designer and new face to the New England fashion scene. As a fashion design graduate of Framingham State College, Laura specializes in one-of-a-kind evening gowns. Upon seeing her collection and speaking to her about her inspiration, my mind went to a happy place and it dawned on me how long it had been since I've done a collaborative project that allowed me to channel my creativity... WITHOUT limits.

Without even thinking, I called in the "big guns". I call my team the "big guns" because without them, my work would just be... "mehh"...

So without showing you the actual money shots, because lets face it, I love being a tease... no sa... its because I can't show them until the actual opening in Boston, I would like to share with you some of the behind-the-scenes shots.
